About Us

Spoken Word Ministry church located in Waltham Abbey,(North London), UK, began from humble beginnings in 1999. Back then, it was just a handful of families gathering in house meetings. Since then God has blessed the fellowship and the flock has grown into a Word loving and Spirit filled congregation of a couple hundred members. The Message of the hour is our common bond that binds the hearts of people of different nationalities and different backgrounds who come to worship in this assembly. Our congregation has believers from The UK, Congo, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Romania, Ghana ,Philippines , Mozambique ,Malawi , South Africa , Cameroon and other divers parts of the world.

We believe there is a great desire in the world to know the truth, does Jesus still live, and if so how? Therefore the main aim and objective of Spoken Word Ministry is to manifest the Lord Jesus Christ through the preaching of the Word in demonstration of the Spirit and of Power (1Cor 2:4). We believe God keeps His Word, and that He is still the same yesterday today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8),and that He has kept his Word for today, “Behold I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” (Malachi 4:5-6), Which he fulfilled through the ministry of his prophet William Marrion Branham. We believe we have no new message of our own, but we echo the Voice of that Seventh angel (Rev 10:7). We have no creed, but Christ, no law but love, and no book but the Bible.

The Pastor of Spoken Word Ministry along with the Local Ministers , shoulder the burden to uphold the standard of God’s Word. Their desire is to help each heart find the pathway to Heaven and walk in that path till Christ comes to take His waiting Bride away. Together we strive to reach every soul possible and let them know what God has done and what He is still doing in this day for his people.

You’re always welcome to come and enjoy the fellowship, and not only hear of the goodness of our Lord, but freely partake of His blessings. May God Bless you!
